BRACKNELL and Wokingham College bosses are encouraging 16 to 18 year olds who are not currently in education, employment or training to make a 'game change’ and enrol on a course starting in January 2014.

They are asking young people to challenge themselves and avoid being left behind in the search for a job by helping them develop important skills.

According to the Association of Colleges, every year 853,000 16 to 18 year olds choose to study in colleges.

Evidence shows having a decent qualification and practical work experience are what make a difference to young people’s job prospects and going to college can offer both.

Young people who join the college in January will get top tuition and coaching in searching and applying for a job, preparing for an interview, developing leadership skills and working in a team.

Potential students need to apply by the first week of January 2014.
