A SCHOOL in Bracknell has urgently closed today (December 11) following a confirmed case of Covid-19.
The Brackenhale School has closed to all students in Years 7 to 13.

The school's website says students will be learning from home instead.
In an email seen by the News, parents were told the school would be closing urgently today "due to Covid-19".
It added: "No student to enter site."
Jane Coley, Headteacher, Brakenhale School explained: "Our students have been asked to work from home today following a confirmed case of COVID-19.
"We are liaising with Public Health England and conducting contract tracing and will remain in contact with parents and students."

Bracknell Forest Council's (BFC) website said: "Provision for key worker and vulnerable children will continue to be made on site and the school will continue to communicate directly with parents and carers."
It added: "All Bracknell Forest schools continue to work as hard as they can to provide effective education in a safe environment for their pupils.
"The decision to move to online learning has not been taken lightly but has been made to ensure the safety of all staff and pupils.
"We are continuing to work with schools to support them and will continue to help them manage outbreaks in line with our Outbreak Control Plan.
"Parents/carers should continue to send their children to school as long as they have not been asked to self-isolate, they are well and their school/ bubble isn’t closed."
