A DOG groomer from Bracknell appeared on television screens last night showcasing her scissor skills in a competition.
Kayla Harris owns two grooming salons 2 Left Paws based in Crowthorne and Windsor with her mother and sister.
She had appeared last night (January 28) on BBC One's Pooch Perfect, a competition based show where contestants demonstrate their skills on the Dogwalk, giving pet owners’ beloved pooches a makeover.
Presenter Sheridan Smith and her co-host Stanley are on hand to offer words of encouragement to the contestants.
Whilst dog groomers Colin Taylor, Verity Hardcastle and vet Bolu Eso judge their doggy craftsmanship.
The show saw local dog groomer Kayla battle it out to make it to first place but unfortunately, the other competitors beat her to it.
The programme airs on a Thursday and dog groomers from across the country get to showcase their skills, grooming a dog according to the judges specification's.
The dogs will have their “every need” catered for in the show’s specially built Pooch Palace.
Programme-makers say the show will feature information for dog lovers and owners, including “top tips on responsible ownership, fun facts about dog breeds and a guide to at-home pooch pampering techniques.”
