It was heartbreak for Binfield at Wembley as the Moles lost 3-2 in the FA Vase final at Wembley.
The red men fought valiantly at the home of football but were unable to match Warrington Rylands, who won thanks to three goals from Elliott Nevitt.
It was the first time Binfield had ever played at Wembley and it was a day to remember for the 1,500 proud fans who travelled east from Berkshire despite the loss.
The game started positively for Binfield with striker Sean Moore securing a couple of corners for the Moles.

The boys in red were able to get a few shots away in the first ten minutes and started the better side.
Rylands’ early moves were limited to hopeful counter-attacks which were comfortably snuffed out by the Moles’ back line.
But the Warrington side grew in confidence and almost took the lead on 20 minutes but for an offside flag that ruled out the blues’ effort.
Rylands broke the deadlock on 25 minutes, however, when Elliott Nevitt drove a shot into the ground from inside the penalty area and past Moles ‘keeper Chris Grace.
Binfield were limited to shots from distance following the opener but found a way through on 41 minutes when Sean Moore did excellently to beat his man down the wing and float a cross into the box.
He found Liam Ferdinand in the middle, who headed the ball home from six yards.
But the Moles’ fortunes were reversed just moments later when Liam Gavin brought down a Rylands forward in the penalty area, forcing the referee to award a spot-kick for the Warrington side.
Elliott Nevitt doubled his tally for the afternoon by slotting past Chris Grace in the 43rd minute.
The second half started slowly with neither side able to take control of the game, despite some promising signs from Binfield.
But the Moles found themselves two goals down on 59 minutes when Elliott Nevitt bagged his hat-trick.
The Warrington man headed in from close range following a Rylands corner to leave Binfield chasing the game.
Sean Moore did almost manage to grab a goal back for his side in the 63rd minute when he had a header cleared off the line.
And moments later, Binfield were back in the game when a poor clearance from Rylands fell to Liam Ferdinand, who rifled a fierce shot past the Warrington keeper from just outside the box on 66 minutes.
‘Keeper Chris Grace did superbly to keep Binfield in the game after Rylands’ forward Drummond found himself with space in the penalty box on 75 minutes.
The goalie spread himself wide to block a powerful effort from the Warrington forward.
Chances were few and far between following this incident, however, as Rylands set up more defensively in the closing stages.
Six minutes of injury time was added at the end of the 90 minutes but the Moles could not find an equaliser in the dying moments.
In fact, it was Rylands who almost added another as Elliott Nevitt missed a golden opportunity with a minute to play.
It was heartbreak for Binfield as Rylands ran out 3-2 winners in what was a topsy-turvy match at Wembley.
The deflated players walked over to the travelling Binfield fans to thank them for their support on what was a day of mixed emotions at Wembley.
