Whether you have lived in Bracknell your whole life or have only recently moved, there are certain quirks that only those who hail from the town will know about.
Bracknell may be small but with excellent links to London it is becoming the place to be if you wish for a nice amount of greenery while still inside commuter links to big cities.
From the introduction of the Lexicon to the continuous roundabouts, some things will make sense although it depends on how long you have lived here.
We asked The News readers the question: 'Tell us you’re from Bracknell without telling us you’re from Bracknell', and this is what they said.
1. ‘Meet at the Bandstand’
Honourary mention to one reader, Dan Dixon who said that this was ‘the only correct answer.’ He explained on our facebook post:

2. The Met Office
If you’ve just moved to Bracknell you may not be aware but anyone who is anyone knows that the original location of The Met Office was in Bracknell. There are even one's who have said that the weather report was always more accurate when it resided in the town.

South Hill Park has always been a staple within Bracknell. From it’s relaxing walking trails to the Wilde Theatre showing multiple shows and comedy nights it’s definitely something that anyone who resides here will remember visiting at least once.
8. Houses

9. Bentalls
What now is Fenwicks and the Lexicon, was once the famous Bracknell department store Bentalls. Many people that hail from the town have many fond memories.
