Two weeks ago, one diner said: “The food was absolutely delicious and the warm and welcoming team made it even more so. Jane the manager was attentive and happy to help with whatever we needed. Thoroughly reccomended!”

Another commented: “Best advise I can give is to arrive on an empty stomach. This is very much as “you get what you pay for” pub when it comes to portions, the food was delicious and our server Linda was friendly and welcoming.

This family run pub in Warfield has a great reputation for offering delicious home cooked meals and excellent customer service.

Both bar and full restaurant menus are available with a special roast menu on Sundays.

The venue is dog-friendly venue but they do politely request that all dogs remain in the bar and garden area only.

One recent customer said: “Went for Sunday roast which was very tasty ! Great Service from Millie, always very attentive and fast. Highly recommended John and Domi."

One reviewer said: “It was a damp evening and we received wonderful food, a welcome fire and a good chat about assistance dogs!


“We were made to feel really welcome and I wasn’t made to feel that my wheelchair was a problem, even though I transferred to a chair and left it heating by the fire!

“For all the sports fans out there, our TV screens are showing the Rugby World Cup matches, meaning you can get all the front row action whilst enjoying a refreshing gin & tonic or pint of beer in our historic pub!”
