Firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire which was reported in Wokingham yesterday evening (4/10).
The incident happened at 5:47pm on Wednesday, October 4 on Nine Mile Ride.
A van was found ablaze by crews from Ascot, Crowthorne, and Bracknell fire stations and an officer from Thames Valley Police.
A spokesperson from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two main jets and a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 40 minutes.”
According to a local resident, part of the road affected by the fire was closed. Vehicle recovery and road maintenance appeared at 8:30pm following the incident
