THE family of a woman with a life-threatening brain tumour have made a viral video urging 250,000 people to donate £1 to pay for her pioneering treatment.
Lesley Webb's husband George, children and wider family made the film with the help of the News to try to launch the appeal beyond Bracknell and get the money to send her to a surgeon in America.
Over the last four weeks, they have raised £20,000 but it is a race against time to meet their total and they hope that putting the video on YouTube and social networking sites will take their campaign to a wider audience and encourage more people to donate.

"This is gut-wrenching, absolutely gut-wrenching. All I can say is, I appreciate everyone who has spoken on the video and my heart just goes out to everybody who can help." The couple from Great Hollands have five children and their youngest daughter, Kayley, 16, said in the appeal: "Please can you help me save my mum's life." Another daughter, Rebecca, 23, added: "I just want my children to see their grandma as they grow up.
"We love her so much, that's why we are here appealing for everyone to come forward to help us and donate money." Lesley was diagnosed with the malignant brain tumour in September last year and has since had an operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy without success.
The tumour affects the right-hand side of her body, meaning that she can no longer speak or use her right arm, and her use of her right leg is starting to be affected.
The family found out about the pioneering treatments offered by internationally renowned brain tumour specialist Dr Henry Friedman at the Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina after hearing about a similar fundraising campaign by Staines brain tumour sufferer Melissa Huggins.
George said: "It has given us hope." How you can help Watch the video Donations can be made via Paypal (follow the link at www.rememberme4ever.co.uk/Fund-Raisers.php) or the Lesley Webb/ Hobden Cancer Fund at Nationwide.
