A MENTAL health charity held two days of art and politics workshops to explore identity and "Finding Your Voice".
Around 15 people attended the sessions run by Parliamentary Outreach - Parliament's education service - and the Bracknell branch of mental health charity Rethink.
Alison Summersbey, service lead at Bracknell Rethink, said: "It was very, very positive and really inspirational.
"It was a really good project, something very different for us to be involved in." Workshops included drawing self-portraits with artist Rachel Gadsden and learning about the history of Parliament and how to engage with the political system. They were held on April 14 and 15 as part of a nationwide project run by Parliamentary Outreach at 16 different venues.
The mayor of Bracknell Forest Council, Cllr Bob Wade, and the mayor of Bracknell Town Council, Cllr Chas Baily, also visited the project on the final afternoon to speak to participants.
The workshops were held at the Coopers Hill Youth and Community Centre in Crowthorne Road North, Bracknell, next to Bracknell Rethink's office.
Bracknell Rethink supports around 100 people in the community with mental health issues and also runs a range of day and evening activities.
Rethink nationally also provides a helpline, support for carers, information, advocacy and other services.
