MENTAL health services need more funding, said Bracknell's MP at the launch of a charity's campaign.
Phillip Lee met with members of the Bracknell branch of Rethink to discuss the charity's new national campaign Fair Treatment Now, which aims to make mental health services fair and accessible for everyone who needs them.
The members talked to him about concerns over consistency of mental health services across Berkshire. Dr Lee told the campaigners at the meeting on Friday, July 16, that he fully supports an increased share of the national budget being spent on mental health services.
Rethink's ongoing 'Time to Change,' campaign, which highlights the discrimination and stigmas faced by people with a mental health diagnosis also gained the backing of Dr Lee, who promised to promote it in the House of Commons.
