A fire in a Bracknell flat is being investigated by police.
firecrews were alerted by the police to a fire in Boyd Court, off Binfield Road in Bracknell. There were no occupants inside.
They received the call at 7:59pm on Tuesday January 14, and two fire engines from Bracknell and Crowthorne attended the scene.
Upon arrival firefighters found clothes on fire inside a wardrobe, and they used two breathing apparatuses and hoses to quell the flames.
They were on scene until 10:10pm, and Watch Manager Dominic McKeown of Bracknell fire station, said: “There was little damage, it was mostly smoke damage.” Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
