Historic cricket clubs to merge 'with a view to competing in the top divisions'
|
The members of Bracknell Cricket Club and Reading United Cricket Club have unanimously agreed to become one club, where Reading United merges into Bracknell CC to become Bracknell United. Forming one of the largest clubs in the region, this will improve cricketing opportunities for both clubs, thereby improving opportunities within the region. Both clubs held general meetings in February and March of 2024 and approved the proposal to become Bracknell United. The clubs will join forces to compete in the 2024 season in Berkshire Cricket League and Thames Valley League.
