KATIE Eleftheriou and Stuart Robinson have announced their decision to stand down as owners of the Bracknell Bees.
The duo have spent five-and-a-half seasons in charge of the club and recently saw the Bees finish sixth in the English Premier Ice Hockey League and make the play-offs.
They released a statement this evening saying: "The time has now come for the club to move forward in the EPIHL with fresh enthusiasm and hunger and we are pleased that new licensees, who possess those qualities, are soon to be appointed by the John Nike Leisuresport Complex.
"We took the club on during its turbulent 20th anniversary season and have proudly and safely guided it past its 25th anniversary.
"Unfortunately this isn't how we wanted to release the news, but due to circumstances beyond our control, the information is now out in the open.
"There are numerous people that we wish to thank for supporting us over the last few years and we will take the opportunity to publicly do that at the BBSC Presentation Evening on Friday."
