PLANS to develop housing and a school on 250 acres of farmland in South Wokingham have been approved by the council recently.
Outline planning permission for approximately 1,456 homes, a primary school, and a 'neighbourhood commercial centre', as well as the construction of the new 2.7km single-carriageway distributor road (including a shared 3m wide cycle lane and footpath) in south Wokingham has now all been approved by the Wokingham Borough Council.

The development work is set to be completed on the farmland space between Finchampstead Road and Waterloo Road, south Wokingham.
Of the 1,400+ homes, around 620 of which will be constructed by Kier Property over the next few years, and the remaining 836 will be constructed under the management of Miller Homes.
