Talbot Kersey Green of Clare Avenue, Wokingham, Berks died peacefully on Monday 16th July 2018, at Glebelands Care Home, aged 84. Born, 23rd April 1934 at The Slade House, Hinwick, Beds. Brother to Bridget & Robert. School education at Michael Hall School Minehead Somerset, Forest Row School Sussex & The Polytechnic London. Royal Air Force (1953-1957), promoted to Corporal in October 1955, then posted at the Early Warning Station at Beachy Head followed by St Margaret's Bay. Worked for Schlumberger Instruments / Solartron Laboratory Instruments Ltd (1957-1990). Member of The Society of Environmental Engineers, The Society for Promotion of Roman Studies, The Society of Genealogists, The Irish Genealogical Research Society & The RAF Historical Society. Life Member of The Royal Archaeological Institute. Friend of The Centre for the History of Defence Electronics & The RAF Air Defence Radar Museum (Horning, Norfolk). Archivist & passionate supporter of The Mills Archive Trust (Reading). Achieved Upper 2nd Class Diploma in Archaeology, with 1 Sessional Distinction from the University of London Extramural Dept.
