LONGHURST Muriel Muriel died peacefully on 14th February 2021 in Wokingham. Born in Ascot, in 1936, the Longhurst family were well known. She attended Wokingham County Girls School where she learnt that women could aspire to achieve. As a teacher her work was pioneering in the use of study skills. She was Headteacher in Bromley and then used her experience of education to train other professionals. She travelled widely, was a keen bell ringer and loved gardens. She will be sadly missed by friends and family.
