BURGES Hazel Rosetta May Of Barkham, Wokingham. Passed away at Royal Berkshire Hospital on Thursday evening, 18th of August, aged 82. She had battled cancer for years, but the end came suddenly. Hazel was older sister to Denise, and for 60 years the beloved wife of Gordon. She was the adored mother of Peter, John and Guy; grandmother to Catherine, Charles, Joseph, Daniel, Emily, Ruby, Max and William. Hazel grew up on a farm in Botswana before travelling to London in time for the 60s. She loved Wokingham, making it her home for more than 40 years and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A service and celebration of her life will take place in the Braccan Chapel at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, Nine Mile Ride, Bracknell, RG40 3DW on Friday, September 16th at 12:30 pm.
