I am terribly sad to hear about the loss of Mr Ainger. I remember him very well from my time as a pupil at Edgbarrow School from 1969 to 1973. I remember being taught History by Mr Ainger in one of the terrapin buildings at the front of the School. The photograph is from a Facebook page called Edgbarrow School Memories where there are many of us ex pupils sharing memories of our days at the School. I am told the photograph is Teachers on trip to Rome/Sorrento 1970ish. Rest in Peace Mr Ainger, believe me, you will not be forgotten. Josie Winder.
