FIREFIGHTERS warned people to be extra vigilant in the hot weather after a bush fire on heathland today (Saturday).
Crews from Egham and Bracknell fire stations went to land off Chobham Road, Sunningdale, shortly after 2.30pm to find burning undergrowth.
They used two water tanks to put out the blaze and Egham firefighter Tom Singleton said: "People should take care in the hot weather especially when using disposable barbecues and extinguishing cigarettes."
