A POSTBOX in Sunningdale will be painted gold tomorrow (Tuesday) to celebrate Paralympic dressage rider Sophie Christiansen winning two first place medals at London 2012.
The equestrian, who grew up in the village and went to Charters School, will be honoured by the Royal Mail, which will paint the post box outside the London Road post office the same colour as her two gold medals in the individual and team events.
Painting of the post box will begin at 10am and first class stamps with a picture of Miss Christiansen on them are also available from post offices.
