SPECIAL youth representatives from two Bracknell colleges will play a key part in judging the shortlist for the Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards this year.
Two students from Bracknell and Wokingham College and the head boy and girl of Garth Hill College will join the judging panel this April to help decide who most deserves to be recognised with one of the prestigious awards.
From the best teacher in Bracknell Forest to the charity or business most deserving of some recognition for their good work, the four teens will offer their own fresh outlook on the nominations.
Students Bradley Burgisser and Emma Jennings of Bracknell and Wokingham College were selected as the first two youth members to join the judges and say it is an honour to be such an integral part of the awards team.
Bradley said: “When I was first approached about being a judge I was thrilled as it is a great thing to be asked to do. I feel these awards are important as they help to recognise people who have achieved something amazing and hopefully when people see what others have done it will motivate them to do more.
“I am honoured to be part of the awards this year.”
