WE ARE into the final week of nominations for the annual Pride of Bracknell Awards – and there is still time for you to throw the names of your local heroes into the pot.
Friday, March 9 is the final day of nominations.
To nominate, go to www.prideofbracknell.com/ and click on ‘Nominate Your Local Hero’.
The awards are set to be hosted at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst on April 27, and as usual, businesses have handed their support to the prestigious event.
The awards categories and the businesses sponsoring them are
as follows:
- The John Nike Pride of Bracknell Forest- Young Person’s Award sponsored by Redwood Technologies
- The John Nike Pride of Bracknell Forest- Adult Award sponsored by Honda
- School of the Year sponsored by Content guru
- Teacher of the Year sponsored by Jemca Toyota Bracknell
- Business of the Year sponsored by Panasonic
- Health and Sport- Young Person’s Award sponsored by Nike Group
- Health and Sport- Adult Award sponsored by Technogym
- Charity of the Year sponsored by Waitrose
- Volunteer of the Year sponsored by Waitrose
- Team of the Year sponsored by Shorts Group
- Special Award sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim
The companies sponsoring the awards expressed their delight in being associates with the event.
