A MAN with mobility issues was robbed by two thugs in broad daylight.
The victim, a man in his sixties, was on his mobility scooter on the footpath of Farningham Road, behind Denmead Court, at 3.20pm on Thursday, August 16 when the incident occurred.
He was approached by the man, who told the victim that he had lost his dog, before shouting at him to hand over all of his money.
The victim was then approached from behind by a second offender, who pressed something into his back that felt like a knife.
The victim handed over his money and the offenders ran off towards Farningham Road and turned left.
They are described as being two white men, aged in their twenties, one wearing a grey tracksuit with black shoes, and one wearing all black.
Investigating officer PC Paul Roche, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “This was a robbery on a vulnerable man who has been left shaken following this experience
“We would like anyone with information about this incident to come forward.”
