AN evening of jazz to raise money for people in need will be taking place in Wokingham.
Supported by the Wokingham Lions Club, The Rotary Club of Wokingham and Prospect Estate Agency, the concert will take place at The Whitty Theatre, at Luckley house School, on Saturday, October 27.
Featuring renowned jazz musician Art Themen, the evening will hope to raise valuable funds for Wokingham In Need (WIN).
The charity's founder, Sue Jackson said: "All proceeds raised from this event will go to Wokingham in Need, for distribution to worthy causes, including Invictus. WIN was founded in September 2016 to help support the homeless, vulnerable and needy people in our borough.
"Art Themen is a great talent, whose original style will appeal to jazz fans of all genres. He also is a big supporter of philanthropic causes, and we are so pleased that he will be once again be performing for the Wokingham community."
