A CARE home is feeling the love this Valentine's Day by hosting a celebratory tea dance.
Larkland House on London Road in Ascot will be opening its doors to guests for an afternoon tea, Buck's Fizz and a selection of cakes and pastries.
Maggie Candy, home manager at Larkland House, said: "The local community is a huge part of life at Larkland House and Valentine's Day provides us with the perfect opportunity to say thank you for their support.
"Many residents speak fondly about how they met their other halves, their wedding day and their children so we wanted to organise a special event to celebrate the most romantic day of the year."
Residents at the care home will get the opportunity to have a dance and enjoy live entertainment from singer Manuelle.
Maggie added: "We look forward to being joined by the people of Ascot for an afternoon of dancing."
The event takes place from 2.30pm to 4pm on February 14 and invites guests to the care home for a fun and 'romance-inspired' afternoon.
Larkland House aims to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives.
The Ascot care home provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
