THE BARNADO’s charity is appealing for governors to help lead its school for children with complex needs.
Barnardo’s High Close School in Wokingham is looking for governors including a Chair and Vice Chair to advice on the direction of the school.
Clem Deniran, assistant director of Children’s Services at Barnardo’s, said: “We are really proud of High Close School and our aim is to ensure that our pupils not only enjoy their education, but they also reach their full potential and go on to make a full and positive contribution to society.”
The school offers day and residential provision for young people with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
Mr clem added: “Becoming a governor at High Close will be challenging but also highly rewarding.
"We welcome applicants with experience in or an interest in education which can help to drive the school forward and also those individuals who have a passion for supporting the children helped by Barnardo’s.
“The success of High Close is very much a team effort and we look forward to welcoming new members of the team on our journey.”
