Philip Cook, general manager for Involve Community Services, said: “We are a unique charity, now in our 40th year. We support other local charities and community groups.
“This £500 will be used for our Community Navigation Scheme, which helps people navigate to find help and support for a variety of issues, such as self-care, social care, housing, anxiety and mental health.
“People can access the service through a referral from a GP, social worker, family member or a self-referral.”
