A DESERVING student from Bracknell has won an award for capturing a unique and colourful photo of The Lexicon.
Joe Hope picked up his award for his entry in Bracknell Forest Council's 2018 photographic competition, 'Great Place to Grow' which displayed photos taken from students at South Hill Park Arts Centre.
He said: "It was surprising, but nice to be awarded a commendation, taking part in the competition and exhibition has grown my confidence."
The 18-year-old student at Bracknell and Wokingham College, captured a unique and colourful night-time shot of the Bracknell shopping centre.
The competition is designed to showcase how Bracknell is a great place to live, work and learn.
As well as this, the category was newly created as a way to encourage young people to get inspired in the creative field.
Residents can visit the exhibition at South Hill Park Arts Centre in Bracknell, until June 9.
