A FASHION student from Bracknell has won Miss Dorset 2019 after promoting eco-social issues as part of her campaign.
Alina Green, who studied at Ranelagh School growing up, works for the not-for-profit group We Do Ethical, an organisation that promotes ethical living throughout Dorset.
She came out on top at the Wear It Green fashion show on Thursday, June 6, where more than 200 ‘change-makers’ gathered at Bournemouth’s Hilton hotel.

After learning she had scooped top prize, Alina said: “I am so excited to be the new Miss Dorset, there were some amazing finalists this year so I am so shocked that I have won.
“I can’t wait to start enforcing change in Dorset.”
Alina, 20, will now go on to compete in the Miss England 2019 competition.
As part of the next round she will team up with the Wear It Green campaign to help stop fast fashion.
This involves Alina designing her own eco outfit which she will show off for the Miss England campaign in September.
Alina is currently in her first year at Arts University Bournemouth and is a keen polo player.
