FAMILIES and children celebrated the UN international yoga day by learning breathing techniques and hand gestures.
The Indian Community of Bracknell (ICAB) invited hundreds of guests to learn yoga on Sunday, June 23.
The event, in its fourth consecutive year, focussed on the theme of mental health and yoga as a tool in managing stress in everyday life.
Kam Dehal, who is a yoga teacher, led the group yoga session and guests followed the specific Mudras which are hand gestures.
Families also experienced a 'breathtaking' synchronised sun salutations display, led by 100 performers.
As well as this, Dilip Ladwa who is the chair of the ICAB and trained in mental health spoke about identifying mental health problems and how to tackle them.
