GRANDPARENTS were invited to a school in Ascot and looked after by their grandsons as part of Grandparents Day.
The grandparents become special guests at the at Papplewick School on Saturday, June 1 and were offered refreshments before being escorted to classrooms.
A chapel service was led by Mr Harry Paget, Head of Divinity, before the boys took their grandparents on guided tours of the school.
Tom Bunbury, headteacher of Papplewick, said: “The boys are always very proud to show off their school and their work to their grandparents, who enjoy the event hugely.”
A concert in the school hall was followed by a barbecue lunch in the garden and a cricket match.
