THE Wokingham Lions Club have planned a night of comedy to raise money at a day centre for the elderly.
The night will see professional comedians and a compare provide an evening of entertainment on Friday, September 6 at Wade Day Centre.
Money raised from the event will be given to two Wokingham charities including the Ollie Young Foundation and The WADE Day Centre.

John Cleary, organiser of the event, said: “If you like comedy, you’ll love #Woky Comedy Night. We have three really funny professional comedians and a superb compere, offering a great evening of entertainment.
“The Wokingham Lions have been long-term supporters of The Ollie Young Foundation and the WADE Day Centre, so we are hoping for a full house.
“The ticket site has been very busy since its launch, so I would urge anyone wanting to come to get their tickets ASAP.”
Comedians at the event will include Eddy Brimson, Steve N Allen, Naomi Cooper and compare Tom Webb.
