A POPULAR fast-food takeaway app is set to launch to residents in Wokingham very soon.
Deliveroo are "excited" to launch their food delivery service in the Borough, making it easier for residents to enjoy their favourite food from the comfort of their own homes.
The company is looking for drivers and cyclists who are interested in working for the UK wide takeaway app, aiming to deliver food within 15 minutes.
Harrison Foster, Deliveroo's UK regional director, said: "We’ve seen a huge demand for Deliveroo in Wokingham and we’re excited to be launching next month; we’re really excited to be creating new work opportunities for local people."
The food delivery service are appealing for workers who have cars, bicycles, scooters or motorbikes to deliver food from restaurants and deliver it to residents.
New riders are automatically enrolled in a first-of-its-kind free insurance package to ensure everything is covered while out on the road.
Harrison added: "The team is looking for people with passion, drive and great customer service, who are seeking the added benefit of flexible hours amongst other perks.
"We would encourage anyone looking for a fast paced and active job to apply through our website."
