FARLEY Wood Community Centre will receive a cash injection after council bosses confirmed plans to invest in the Binfield site.
The centre will be extended and improved using £3,800 of developers’ contributions ‘so that it is able to provide facilities for the residents moving into new housing developments in the area’.

The move comes as the council seeks to bolster infrastructure around the borough in light of housing growth nearby.
Documents show the council hopes the investment will increase the number of residents participating in leisure and to support ‘high levels of community cohesion’.
