A FATHER-of-two has spoken of his horrific ordeal after he had to rescue his children out of a burning car.
Harry Green from Bracknell planned to drive his son and daughter to 4 Kingdoms adventure playground in Thatcham on Sunday (September 29) before smelling smoke from his car's dashboard.
In sheer panic, the roof tiler quickly jumped out of his car and cradled his children out, minutes before the BMW Series 3 shot up in flames, plummeting smoke into the air.

The 24-year-old said: "I starting smelling smoke and got the kids out of the car.
"I panicked so much but as soon as I got them out, I called my girlfriend and took them home.
"I walked back to my car and it shot up in flames, I was panicking so much at the time as next thing you know the car is on fire."
Harry bought his BMW only six months ago and had spent £2,000 on it, changing the alloys and putting a new turbo in it.
He added: "It is just aggravating. I loved that car so much and I didn't even want to sell it as I spent so much money on it.
"I am just glad we weren't on the motorway on route to Thatcham because at high speed it could have been a lot worse." The father who lives in Binfield Road has looked into what may have caused the fire and noticed when reading online that some BMW 3 series have been recalled.
Roger Carter from Hawthorn Hill was driving when he noticed a commotion on Binfield Road, when a woman stopped and blocked traffic.
He said: "I stopped about 25 metres away on the edge of the roundabout and got out and checked there was nobody in the car.

"The young lady was quite close to the burning car and I shouted for her to move back because if it was a petrol car, it could have been so serious explosion if the tank went up."
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "At 11.56am on Sunday, 29 September, we received reports of a vehicle on fire on Binfield Road, Bracknell.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bracknell was sent to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters found one car well alight. The fire was extinguished by a firefighter in breathing apparatus using a hose reel.
The crew was at the scene for approximately 30 minutes."
