THERE never seems to be enough car parking spaces anywhere you go, right?!
Parking can infuriate drivers, and the issue even caused a heated debate at Bracknell council last month.

However, there could be more spaces coming to Bracknell Forest as the council’s planning portal is jam-packed with parking space applications.
Here are five proposals which caught our eye this week
21 parking bays - Ashbourne, Bracknell
Ashbourne is one road which could be improved with more spaces, according to designers.
A grass amenity area will be converted to provide the spaces.

Each of the cul-de-sacs will have additional parking spaces and residents with mobility problems will see a “marked improvement” in access.
Despite this, eight objections have been received from the same Ashbourne address, with one resident complaining: “Alternative proposals could be made which deliver greater benefit for residents and which would not put homes at risk of damage.”
Twelve spaces at York Road Play Area
(via Binfield Parish Council)
Binfield could also be getting more car parking spaces at the York Road Play Area.
Twelve spaces will be added if designers get the go-ahead.

York Road is a designated local green space in the Binfield neighbourhood plan, which means development usually isn’t allowed in this area.
However, Binfield Parish Council has submitted evidence showing ‘special circumstances’, which could allow these spaces to be added.
Enlarged car park at The Methodist Church, Shepherds Lane, Bracknell
Fourteen spaces will be marked out at this site after two are covered up to make way for the new designs.
A space nearest to the main entrance will be made available as a disabled parking bay.

The old disabled bay will be re-marked as two normal spaces.
These plans have already been approved by BFC.
New leisure space at Great Hollands Square
Developers want to convert industrial use space to 149 square metres of assembly and leisure space.
These plans would create two new jobs, according to documents, but a letter from applicants suggest no firm proposal for who or what could use the space.

The letter read: “Unit 27A has been empty now for approximately two years.
“If this application is successful the new business could employ people in the local area, rather than possibly sitting empty for another two years.”
Two homes at the back of Don Beni restaurant, Winkfield Row
Winkfield Row’s Italian restaurant could be joined by two three-bedroom homes if developers get the green light.
Parking space used for the eatery would be used for the new homes.

Part of the site’s existing storeroom set to be removed to make way for four new parking spaces for the homes.
Planners are yet to make a decision on the proposal.
