Councillor Moria Gaw, Bracknell Forest Council’s Older People’s Champion, said: “I was delighted to meet so many older residents from across the borough.
“I believe it is very important to recognise and celebrate individual achievements and it was a great opportunity to be able to signpost the various facilities and events available for them Borough-wide.
“I’m already looking forward to celebrating in a bigger and better way next year!”
Councillor Gaw and Cllr Jennie Green were joined by Involve, Citizens Advice and The Open Learning Centre to highlight their activities supporting Bracknell’s older residents.
