FAMILIES can get in the spooky spirit this October with a series of Halloween events in Wokingham.
Dinton Pastures Country Park and libraries in Wokingham are holding a variety of Halloween events to keep little-ones occupied.
Residents can take part in the Halloween Night Adventure, where you can take a guided nature walk around Sandford Lake to see bats in the eery night sky.
After the walk, there will be a fire where you can sit back and enjoy toasting marshmallows and warming up with a tasty hot chocolate with tickets available for the 26, 27 and 31 October
Children can also learn about nocturnal animals as part of a Halloween themed Outdoor Let's Explore event at Wokingham and Lower Earley libraries on October 31.
The session will conclude with a reading of Cathy MacLennan's book Spooky, Spooky, Spooky!
Cllr Parry Batth, the executive member for environment and leisure, said: "There is a whole host of Halloween fun to be had across the Wokingham Borough this half-term.
"We are inviting families to stop in for a spell of spooktacular fun at both Dinton Pastures and our Wokingham Borough Libraries,”
