The issue was raised with Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) bosses, who have now terminated the sub-contractor’s job at the site.
Kevin Gibbs, Executive Director, Delivery at BFC, told the News: “We were made aware of the issue on 30 September.
“This was immediately raised to the principal contractor working on-site who removed the sub-contractor.
“The council takes any breaches of its appointment terms and conditions very seriously, and specifically with regard to health and safety matters.

“Accordingly, this contractor has been removed as an approved sub-contractor and will not be working on future Bracknell Forest Council projects.”
