PIZZA Express has completely transformed its restaurant in Sunningdale despite reports the company was in 'trouble' with more than £665 million in debts.
The Italian restaurant chain reopened on October 19 and to celebrate the restaurants 20th birthday in November next month, they will be giving away free doughballs.
Renovations at Pizza Express Sunningdale have seen a brand new open kitchen, designed to bring 'authenticity' and an open feeling for guests to see how their meals are prepared.

As well as this, it has modern features such as marble tables with yellow and rose furnishings, festoon lighting and a portrait of the founder Peter Boizot proudly hung up.
Recently, Pizza Express in Wokingham brought a taste of Italy to the high-street as it renovated as an 'authentic and traditional pizzeria.
The restaurant now focuses more on its hearty pizzas, bringing different flavours and tastes to the scene.
Angga Wijaya, Pizza Express Sunningdale Pizzeria manager said: "Our stylish new pizzeria showcases the kitchen at its heart, designed to allow our customers watch our talented pizzaiolos freshly handmake their pizza to order.
"Our refurbishment has come at an especially exciting time as not only have we brought back the calzone, which features on our brand new Autumn menu, but will be celebrating the pizzeria’s 20th birthday in November, giving loyal customers even more reasons to visit and have good times, together with us in our new-look pizzeria.”
However, it was announced at the start of October that the company hired financial advisers ahead of crunch talks with creditors over the restaurant's soaring debts.

According to the restaurant chain's most recent accounts, it had debts of £1.12 billion by the end of last year, which works out at £1.6million per restaurant.
