EARLIER THIS WEEK, the News revealed dozens of important buildings in Bracknell, Binfield and Warfield have been given special planning protection by the council.

Fifty structures with local ‘architectural or historic interest’ have been added to a new list to help guard heritage sites against disruptive developments.

The list is different from the sites added to the National Heritage List structures, which features almost 300 different buildings and structures from Bracknell Forest.

Other sites can still be added to the list through requests.
