Every week, readers have been sending in their pictures of their pets for a chance to win our weekly pet competition.

Our entries will fail to disappoint, as we have chosen the best cats and dogs for you to enjoy and vote on.

Meeko the ginger tom cat may be our perfect entry this week, as he poses next to a beautifully carved pumpkin.

Halloween has come to the Rocco household as his owners dress him in a gory costume.

Louis the cat has embraced the spirit and is dressed in a skeleton costume. We think he looks rather cute posting next to a miniature pumpkin.
