A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after two cars crashed into each other in Bracknell this morning.

Three people were treated by paramedics after a crash took place on London Road in Binfield.

A woman was taken to Royal Berkshire Hospital and a male and female in the other car were treated at the scene.

A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We received a 999 call at 07:48 with the caller reporting a two-car collision on B3408 London Road, Binfield, Bracknell.

"We sent a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances to the incident; there were three patients in the two cars, all with minor injuries.

"An adult female was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for further assessment and the male and female in the other vehicle were treated at the scene."

Another crash on the Twin Bridges roundabout caused traffic chaos on the roads as drivers try to get to their destinations during the morning rush-hour.

One resident also reported that the traffic lights were out of order throughout the morning around 8am causing more disruptions.

Kirsty Joanne from Bracknell said: "The traffic lights are currently out of use and people are obviously taking advantage of this.

"My sister and her baby were in a crash this morning on the way to work. Luckily they're both okay and that’s what matters. I’m just worried about other drivers."

Bracknell Forest Council's highways department has been contacted for a comment.
