CHILDREN were excited to see The Gruffalo at the re-opening of a popular book store in Bracknell.
Waterstones in Bracknell underwent a refurbishment and proudly opened its store to shoppers on November 9.

The Gruffalo visited the bookseller at 11am to cut the ribbon and officially declare the refurbished store open.
Mums and dad's took their little ones to the book store to listen to some storytelling and pick up a goody bag and balloon
Curtis Weedon, bookshop manager at Waterstones in Bracknell, said: “All the team are absolutely delighted with how the shop is looking. We have improved the range considerably as a result of the changes to the shop and with new flooring and lighting our bookshop has undergone a pretty dramatic transformation." The book shop has undergone a six week transformation with a larger ground floor and archways to create dedicated book rooms for easier browsing.

The books have also been reviewed and refreshed to improve the quality and give customers a better range of books to choose from.
Curtis added: "We have been in Bracknell for a long time now and we are really grateful to all our customers whose loyal support over the years has encouraged this investment.
"We are looking forward to a bright future in the town and are excited to share our new bookshop with all our regulars and hopefully with some new faces too. We can’t wait for the next chapter for Waterstones in Bracknell to begin.”
