A NEW hotel in the centre of Wokingham will throw open its doors this week.
The Premier Inn will officially open on Friday and, to celebrate, staff will be around from 11:30am - 1pm serving bucks fizz in the hotel's Thyme restaurant and bar.
It is the first hotel for the chain to open in the town with the next nearest two in Bracknell, and Wokingham Borough mayor Bill Soane will be hosting the official opening.

The new hotel, which has 95 bedrooms, has employed a team of 26 staff to work at the new hotel.
Carolyn Floyd, new openings project manager at Premier Inn, said: “We can’t wait to open the doors at our new Wokingham hotel.
"Premier Inn Wokingham will be our very latest hotel offering the excellent standards, great service and brilliant value for money we are known for.

"As a business we always recruit locally. We have had great success recruiting in Wokingham, with most of the 26-strong team living in the local area, and the team’s pre-opening training has been full of energy and a lot of fun.
"We’re really looking forward to welcoming guests, becoming part of Wokingham’s business community and adding another excellent new location to our growing network."
Bernie Pich, assistant director of commercial property, added: "Premier Inn staff also have a fantastic record of giving back to their local areas and the Wokingham team are no exception as they are keen to make sure they are embedded at the heart of the community.
"The run up to the opening has already seen them out and about helping with the recent community litter picks, collecting money for charity in the town centre and signing up to help out at the Winter Carnival later this month.
"We hope our local residents will wish them well and welcome them to the town."
