A NUMBER of cars left unlocked by drivers have been broken into by thieves in the past week.
In just one week, police received four reports of thefts and burglaries taking place in areas across Ascot and Bracknell.

A burglary took place on Saturday, November 23 in Dale Lodge Road where the owner discovered their conservatory door was smashed.
There was no attempt to gain entry into the house by the would-be thieves.
On Lower Village Road in Sunninghill, a suspicious man was reportedly seen walking onto a couple's driveway and trying to open their car door handle.
Police have said the man was possibly wearing a grey baseball hat, blue jacket, dark trousers, red gloves with a grey back pack and a torch.

A police spokesman said: "Can everyone else in the area who has a video doorbell, please check the footage around this time."
On the same road between the hours of 6pm and 8.30am on November 21 to 22, burglars broke into an unlocked car stealing a pair of sunglasses, loose change and headphones.
Police are urging residents to be vigilant and lock their cars at night whether they are parked on the roads or on the driveway.
Thieves stole a spare wheel from a Vauxhall Combo car parked at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot.
