IT’S now little more than two weeks until voters go to the polls for the general election.
In recent weeks the News has revealed who is standing in Bracknell and Wokingham as the race hots up.

Candidates vying to be the MP for Windsor have also been announced.
The constituency includes four Bracknell Forest wards, namely Ascot, Binfield with Warfield, Warfield Harvest Ride, and Winkfield and Cranbourne.
Several wards within the Royal Borough are also part of this constituency, as well as one ward from Slough borough.

Adam Afriyie (Conservative)
Mr Afriyie has been the MP for Windsor since the 2005 general election.
He was appointed as the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Ghana in 2016 and has previously chaired different parliamentary committees.

He lives in Old Windsor with his wife and five children.
David John Buckley (Independent)
Few details are known about this independent candidate standing for election.
His address is given as being as in the Windsor constituency on the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead’s (RBWM) website, however.
Wisdom Da Costa (Independent)
Mr Da Costa is a councillor at RBWM, representing Clewer and Dedworth West for the West Windsor Residents Association.
He stood as an independent candidate in the 2015 general election and picked up 500 votes.
The independent is a director at an accounting services firm and has previously had a role as a radio presenter at Marlow FM.
Fintan McKeown (Green Party)
Like Mr Da Costa, Fintan McKeown has been an MP candidate for Windsor before, gaining 1,400 votes in 2017.
Mr McKeown is an Irish actor who has worked at the National Theatre with Judi Dench and Daniel Day-Lewis.
He has also starred in Game of Thrones, Merlin and Hollyoaks and his address is given as being in Windsor.
Peter Shearman (Labour)
Another 2017 candidate, Mr Shearman came second at the last general election with more than 12,000 votes in Windsor.
Peter moved to Eton Wick seven years ago and is a school governor.
He works for technology company Cisco.
Julian Tisi (Liberal Democrats)
Mr Tisi is a Windsor resident of more than fifteen years.
He works as a director for an energy company in the town.
The Lib Dem came third in the Windsor constituency election in 2017, securing 5,400 votes.
