Nathan Gibbons, owner of Puzzalogical, said: "We hope to open in February with three great rooms and then during 2020, we will add another room each until we have eight to nine rooms.
"If we can achieve it, then it would make us one of the largest in the UK.
"The project is being done with volunteers work, as the budget is very tight, things are progressing nicely and taking shape."
The escape rooms are designed on Prison Break and bank vault games with an Egyptian tomb also in the plans.
An expert game designer is working on the games, which are designed for players from two to six people from the ages of 10 plus.
