OFFICE spaces in Eastleigh and Northampton and a warehouse in Redditch - these three properties cost Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) more than £41 million in the last two years.
In August, the News revealed three of the six properties purchased by the authority as part of its commercial property scheme.

These included the home of Currys PC World in Sheffield, a retail park in Lincoln and the base for a transportation services company near Ipswich.
The News has now tracked down the other three - here are the properties BFC has been spending its money on.

Shoosmiths, Northampton
This time last year BFC was preparing to complete the purchase of this office space.
The authority shelled out £15,700,000 for the Northampton site.
Shoosmiths are based at the Bedford Road building - a legal firm with more than 1,500 advisers.

Warehouse at a Redditch industrial park
This unit cost BFC £11 million back in July 2018.
BFC owns 48C on Pipers Road at Park Farm Industrial Estate.
Businesses operating at the industrial park include two springs and pressings companies.

Utilita Energy, Eastleigh
Energy Supplier Utilita is based at Hutwood Court in Eastleigh - office space BFC bought for £14,650,000.
Utilita Energy is an independent supplier which primarily uses technology for its services, including apps and smart meters.
The authority acquired the site Utilita is based at in November 2017.
Stuart McKellar, Director of Finance at BFC, told the News in August: “We review all our services through our transformation programme, to ensure they are delivered in the most cost-effective way, while still meeting the needs of residents within the resources available to us.
“The Commercial Property Investment Strategy (CPIS) was agreed in 2016 as part of this programme.
“The aim of the CPIS is to generate additional income of £3m per year to support our front line services.
“This figure has been achieved through acquiring commercial properties, we are not planning to purchase any further properties at this time.”
