RESIDENTS awoke to the sound of the Broadmoor Hospital siren this morning but police have reassured residents it was a "false alarm".
The siren blasted out its 'all clear' signal at around 7am this morning and remained on for approximately 25 minutes.

Thames Valley Police Bracknell tweeted residents explaining it was a "false alarm".
They said: "INCIDENT: TVP are aware that the siren is currently sounding from Broadmoor Hospital.
"We can assure you this is a false alarm which will be rectified as soon as possible #TVPLive."
The force tweeted shortly before 2pm explaining the issue has been resolved by staff at Broadmoor Hospital.
They also thanked residents for their patience.
